Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR)Fiber Optic Solutions

We offer a complete line of fiber optic testing equipment solutions to meet the demands for TELCO, WAN, MAN, LAN, CATV, IT, manufacturing and laboratory. Solutions include OTDRs for FTTx application, optical loss test sets for high fiber count applications as well as power meters, light sources, visual fault locators and optical talk sets.

OTDRs

Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR), technicians can depend on these OTDRs to detect, locate and measure events at any location on the fiber link. They may may also be used to estimate fiber length.

Power / Loss Meters

Power Meters allow technicians to determine the level of optical power being emitted from a transmitter. In relative mode, the meters are used with the included source to perform fiber loss measurements or splice tuning operations.Fiber Optic Power / Loss Meters

Optical Return Loss Meters allow technicians to perform precise optical return loss measurements in the field. The meters basically indicate the difference between the amount of light transmitted into a fiber component or system vs. the amount reflected back into the transmitter. A high level of return loss is often desirable in single mode communications systems in order to prevent data errors due to old data reflections interacting with new data.

Optical Loss Testers can perform everything from basic fiber verification capabilities to advanced troubleshooting and inspection, or documented loss and power measurements.

Laser Light Sources, VFL, and Talk SetsMiscellaneous Fiber Test Tools

Laser Light Sources with red LASER can be combined with our power meters to determine power loss in fiber, connectors, attenuators, or other passive optical components.

Visual Fault Locators - (VFL), technicians can see breaks, micro bends, and other anomaly in optical fibers and connectors as the lights escapes the fiber.

Talk Sets allow communication while testing or troubleshooting when conventional phone access is not possible or when radios and cellular phones are prohibited or otherwise not an option.
